T'Rex teeth counting!

After looking at many words beginning with the letter 'T' it became apparent that T'Rex was one of the favorites! I overheard some of the children discussing the amount of teeth a T'Rex would have... and what shape they would be! What a great opportunity for counting and exploring 1 - 1 correspondence! We created some fierce looking T'Rex's and then asked the children to give them teeth! The children were asked to count the teeth and write down the corresponding number!
As you can imagine, there were a lot of sounds floating around the room as we worked!
